WELCOME MONTE VISTA MUSICIANS!
Welcome to the Instrumental Music program at Monte Vista High School. Our award-winning programs, led by Ed Cloyd and Sara Dasovich, include Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra, two Jazz Bands, Marching Band and Color Guard.
Music Boosters: Monte Vista Keynoters
MV Keynoters is a non-profit 501(c)3 parent booster group that provides essential funds and communications to support all MVHS Instrumental Music classes. MV Keynoters relies entirely on volunteers and donations. The MV Instrumental Music/MV Keynoters website provides an overview of our music programs -- including a calendar of events -- as well as summer camps and outreach programs, a link to our webstore, fundraising/volunteer information, program FAQs, photos, and more.

MVHS Instrumental Music Performances
Please support our hard-working musicians by attending our performances! All classes perform at our Winter and Spring concerts in the Al Gentile Theater at MVHS. Several classes -- including Wind Ensemble, both orchestras, both jazz groups, and MBCG – compete locally, while MBCG performs at several home football games in the Fall. Our performance schedule is regularly updated on our website.
