TYPES OF BELL SCHEDULES:
| Minimum Day |
At MV this from 8:30am to 12:41pm. We will use this on the first day of school (8/10/23).

| Common or Monday Schedule |
This describes our 7-Period bell schedule. It is most often used on Mondays; however, it may also be used for afternoon staff professional development or some testing days.

| Odd Block |
A block instruction schedule with odd periods of 1, 3, 5, 7. This schedule is typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays and students begin at 8:30am.

| Even Block |
A block instruction schedule with even periods of 2, 4, 6. This schedule is typically on Wednesdays abd Fridays and students begin at 8:30am.

| Finals |
There is a special schedule used for the last week of each semester so that students only have a maximum of two finals per day. Students are excused at 1:00pm and do not have lunch at school during finals week.
|
| Floating Teacher Work Days |
Teachers are required to work three of five floating work day opportunities during the school year. All SRVUSD campuses are closed to students on all 5 of these days.
|
| Rally Schedule |
MV has a few school rallies scheduled throughout the year. There may be one rally that the entire student body attends at the same time, or there may be two rallies, with half of the students attending each one. MV rallies take place during the school day.
