Volunteering
The strength of MVHS Athletic Boosters and our ability to fund our athletic program depends on the success of the events and activities sponsored by MVAB; all of these need the support and help from our volunteer community.
Volunteer opportunities earn money for your team by providing money directly to your team's account.
CRAB FEED - Saturday, March 21, 2026
Crab Feed Leads: these positions involve planning, organizing prior to the Crab Feed and supervising at the event. Each volunteer will receive a $150 donation to your team.
Setup Lead: need 1 person. Assist Board in getting event volunteers; order and receive decorations and supplies needed for the tables. On day of event, work with setup crew to set up room to decorate, set tables, prep check in area. At end of event, oversee cleanup crew. Coordinate pickup and return of any decoration items, as needed.
Kitchen Lead(s): need 1-2 people. Order and receive supplies and food needed for the Crab Feed. On day of event, oversee crew to set up and prepare dinner and servers. At end of event, oversee cleanup crew. Coordinate pickup and return of any kitchen items, as needed.
Silent Auction & Raffle Lead(s): need 1-2 people. Organize and prepare silent auction basket information received from teams; prep & print information sheets and bid sheets. On event day, receive baskets from team, setup and display silent auction baskets. Work with silent auction helpers & Treasurer to collect payments and distribute winning items after bid closing.

Crab Feed Individual positions: these positions involve helping at the event itself and volunteers can be either adults or students. Each volunteer will receive a $25/hour to your team and volunteers can sign up via the SignUp Genius link.
SNACK SHACK VOLUNTEERING
(dates vary)
MVAB snack shack operates for MVHS home games and community programs, such as San Ramon Valley T-Birds and Next Level Flag Football.
These volunteer roles are not only fun and active, but an opportunity to meet other MVHS parents and build community.
Activities include helping sell food items on game days; setup/cleanup, prepping and restocking as needed. Each volunteer will receive a $25/shift donation to their team. Volunteers can sign up via the SignUp Genius links:
Next Level Game Days
EXECUTIVE BOARD AND COMMITTEE CHAIR POSITIONS 2025-26
Nominations are currently being accepted for Executive Board Officer positions: President and Vice-President (minimum of one (1)). The term of each Officer position is two (2) years, running from July 1-June 30.
Any member of the Monte Vista Athletic Boosters can run for an Executive Board Officer position by meeting the following criteria:
- Has been a Sports Liaison or Committee Chair and attended a minimum of five (5) regular meetings.
- Submits in writing (e.g. email) a request that they be considered as a candidate for an Executive Board Officer position to the Chairperson of the Services Committee by the end of February.
Additionally, appointment of Committee Chair positions is underway for the upcoming school year. These important roles help Monte Vista Athletic Boosters to conduct regular business and operations in order to fulfill its mission of supporting MVHS Athletic programs.
