Hey, future Mustangs! Are you ready to make a difference at Monte Vista? Do you have great ideas, school spirit, and a passion for leadership? Then Freshman Leadership is for YOU!
What is Freshman Leadership?
This is your chance to step up, represent your class, and help shape an unforgettable first year at Monte Vista! You'll plan events, build school spirit, and develop leadership skills that will serve you throughout high school and beyond.
How to Apply
Step 1: Pick up a hard copy of the application at Incoming Frosh Night on March 3, 2025, or download and print it using the link below.

Step 2: Get TWO recommendations from people who can vouch for your leadership potential!
- One must be from a current teacher.
- The other can be from a coach, mentor, club advisor, or another non-parent/guardian adult.
Step 3: Turn in your completed application to Mrs. Schikora in the Counseling Office by Friday, March 28, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. No late applications will be accepted!
When Will You Find Out?
Decision Day: May 15, 2025!
