In 1973, the family settled in Danville, where he helped form the San Ramon Valley Orthopedic Group, the members of which helped found today’s Muir Orthopedic Specialists.  The highlight of his professional and community career started in 1981 when he volunteered his services as Mustang Football team physician until 1999.  The long lasting friendships with coaches and their families, faculty, and with players and their families have brought Jerry and his wife Frances deep gratitude and joy over the years.  Following retirement in 2000, Dr. and Mrs Davis continue to pull for the Mustangs from the sidelines on Friday nights.
