Carol Dolsby, class of 1977, was recognized as a 3 sport standout in Volleyball, Basketball and Track & Field.  She was honored in 1976 and 1977, by Contra Costa County receiving Flecto Awards for Prep of the Week.  She was also nominated by Tri Valley News and Tri Valley Herald for Girls Winter-Spring Athlete of the year in 1976 and 1977 and awarded Athlete of the year in 1977.
 
Her senior year, Carol had the league’s high score average in basketball with 22 points per game; she also took first place in Shot put and Discus at the NCS, CIF, which allowed her to participate in the State Track & Field competition that year.
 
Following graduation, Carol accepted a scholarship to Lewis-Clark State University in Idaho for Volleyball and Basketball. She was selected all-league first team for Volleyball.  Her sophomore year, she led the volleyball team in serves, saves and setting.  She was also co-captain of the basketball team, where she averaged 15 points and 13 points in her first two years.
