Counseling & Wellness Center

Monte Vista High School has a Counseling Website for up-to-date information and social/emotional resources.

Our Wellness Center is a space for students to decompress, receive support during a crisis and have a safe space to talk. Students can participate in a wide range of services, including mental health counseling, support groups, referrals to community agencies, self-efficacy skills, and more.

For students who prefer talking to a peer, we also offer Peer Counseling, a student-run program that provides confidential one-on-one counseling sessions with trained high school students. Because who can better relate to the ups and downs of life as a modern day teen? Any student can request a session with our Peer Counseling team.

You can find more information about the Counseling Department and Wellness Center HERE, and more information about the Peer Counseling program HERE.

Be well, Mustangs!
